The Gun Safe, Fire Safe, and Burglary Safe Chronicles What Size Gun safe?

The Gun Safe, Fire Safe, and Burglary Safe Chronicles
What size gun safe?

The standard rule of thumb when buying any kind of safe is to buy bigger than you think you need, as inevitably you will be storing things in your safe that you hadn’t thought about. Computers, cameras, jewelry, ammo, expensive collectibles, pricey tools, records, and any number of other things will eventually find their way in among your rifles and pistols.

Before you buy, call us and we’ll fill you in on your options. We’re at 775-358-7233.

The Safe Place sells gun, fire, burglary, wall, floor, and deposit safes (OK, if it locks things up, safely, we sell it!). We’re located in Reno / Sparks, Nevada, but we sell safes to the world (as in the whole world). Our phone number is 775-358-7233, our web-store is www.TheSafePlace.Com. We sell wholesale to the general public --and some of out prices are so low that our manufacturers ask us not to post them on the web, so please don’t hesitate to visit our store and call us if you have any questions.

We sell Cannon, Ft. Knox, Browning, Liberty, Gun Vault, V-Line, American Security, and Winchester safes. Call us, first, to save time, money, energy, and the very things you’re out to protect.

Electric or Gun or Fire Safe? The GunSafe Chronicles. Low Prices, Great Safes

The GunSafe Chronicles: Everything Gun Safe, Fire and Burglary Safes

This is, for now, “The Gun Safe Chronicles,” where I, in a couple of hundred words, talk to you about gun, fire, and burglary safes --hopefully in a no-nonsense way that makes you want to call us (www.TheSafePlace.com 775-358-7233) for prices, advice, and ordering, before you go somewhere where you spend more money and time than you need to, to get a safe that might not be what you really need.

Should you go with a dial (like an old fashioned, turn it this way, turn it that way dial) or a new digital touch-button electronic lock? Honestly and with as little unnecessary technical jargon as possible: It doesn’t matter, as one is as safe as the other (really). But the one that’s easiest for you to use --or that you like the best.

For advice on buying a safe to genuinely protect whatever it is you’re hoping to protect, call us at The Safe Place (775-358-7233). We won’t write stupidly long technical articles, we won’t keep you on the phone with some kind of weird sales pitch, we’ll simply answer your questions and steer you to the right safe, for the right price.

Protecting Valuables. A Recommended Safe Dealer for Gun, Fire, and Burglary Safes

My father gave me a ring. His father had given it to him, passed down from his father. The story is that the gold the ring is made of has been in our family for hundred of years. I keep that ring in my safe, as I consider it irreplaceable. I have some other valuables in the TL-30 I bought from The Safe Place, but that ring, to me, is the reason I spent the money to have a safe that wasn’t going to opened by a thief.

I had almost, I am embarrassed to admit,  bought a much cheaper steel box (it looked like a safe) from a local sporting good store. Fortunately I called The Safe Place before I did that. In about 6 minutes I understood enough to know what kind of safe I needed to protect something like my family ring.

I recommend The Safe Place because they know their safes. They listened to my needs and they helped me shop for the right safe, which is exactly what I wanted.

We are honored. Call us if we may ever be of service: 775-358-7233, we are The Safe Place.

We Study the News, To Know What Kid of Gun, Fire, And Burglary Safes You Need.

We're up early, studying theft, burglaries, and how to keep your things safe!

As you may know, we monitor burglary and theft news so that we can help our customers do the right things to protect their valuables. We sell gun safes, fire safes, floor and wall safes, TL-15 and TL-30 burglary safes, and we sell safes for convenience stores, home application, and businesses.

A quick scan thru the new just from today (below) tells us plenty about security and safety.  There's the group of teens burglars arrested (smash and grab), there's the naked man who invaded a house and confronted a woman and her children (more lights, better door locks, keep weapons within arms reach --and locked up to avoid having the children handling them). And the burglar who picks his victims by knocking on their doors to find out if someone is home --and we noted this telling bit of info:

The sheriff's department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms worked together to put the 54-year-old Saginaw man behind bars. They say he broke into a Zilwaukee township home, picked a safe, then stole 13 guns, including rifles, shotguns and a muzzle loader, a 20-inch TV, an entertainment system and vacuum.

The home surveillance system captured a photo of the suspect, which was released to the public.
Detectives also say the burglar cut himself on broken glass on his way into the home and left blood evidence behind. His DNA was reportedly already on file with the department from a previous felony record.

It says (above) the thief "picked a safe" ---well, there's a safe that wasn't safe at all! And nobody "picks" a safe that is worth its weight in steel. The 13 guns stolen (and reclaimed, thank goodness) where kept in a cheap security box, no doubt. It also says the thief cut himself by breaking a window. Telling.

If you're looking for advice on what kind of safe to buy --and on how to save money, call us. We are The Safe Place --and NOBODY, no safe dealer in America studies the news and keeps their eyes on what makes things safe, than we do. Our number is: 775-358-7233. We are The Safe Place.

Note: We also offer you the lowest prices and the best bargains in the nation.

The Lowest Prices on Great Safes in the United States. We say YES. Buy a Safe!

Here's our advice (before you need it, hopefully). Buy a safe. Put it in your house, apartment, and/or place of business. Bolt it down-- and if it's small, hide it if you can.

Get a bargain on what you pay for your safe, as there are people and companies, like me/us, that specialize in selling LOTS of safes, so our prices become significantly lower than the business that stocks a few.

Call us for help and pricing: The Safe Place, 775-358-7233

Get a safe to protect your checkbooks, your electronics, your emergency credit cards, jewelry, coins, papers you can't lose, and your guns (always lock your guns away).

Buy a safe (you don't have to spend a lot of money; the safe you need is probably going to cost you 1/20th of what you'll store inside it) and get in the habit of putting things away when you go away. Buy a safe at the lowest possible price --one that supplies the maximum protection for the things you'll store in it.

Here's a low priced safe for someone looking for a good deal of storage space:

We sell this Cannon safe at almost 50% off of retail!
Click this link to see it --and many others we actually carry in stock.

Buying a Great Gun or Fire Safe at Low, Low (or Lowest) Prices

Are your brakes safe? That's the question in this ad from 1947.

Which leads me to the question: Is your safe SAFE?

Some gun, fire, and floor safe look very much like safes, but they don't always ACT that way, under pressure.

To find out how safe your safe is --and/or to talk with a safe expert about the kinds of safes that might fit your needs, exactly, call us at The Safe Place (775-358-7233).

We're located in Reno / Sparks, Nevada, but we ship all over America (and all the time). Now here's the best news: We can, 99% of the time, meet AND beat anyones prices. Nice...

34,000 Reasons to Buy / Own a Gun Safe

There are an estimated 250 million guns in America. Nearly seven million American households keep at least one unlocked, loaded gun in the house, including about 1.6 million homes with children.

Guns kill 34,000 Americans every year - thirteen children every day. The rate of gun deaths from homicides and suicides is much higher in the United States than in any other developed country in the world. Over 70% of murders in the United States are committed with a firearm.

We want you to have a gun safe because it's how we support ourselves, but REALLY, we never want you to wish you had one. Never. Buy a safe for your guns, period.

We are the Safe Place: 775-358-7233

Buying a Safe Cheap or Buying a cheap Safe.

Should you buy a safe after searching "cheap safe, safes, or cheapest safe"? Well, honestly? I  might say yes to a cheap safe if what I'm putting in it is cheap.

However, some of these "safes" advertised as cheap are so poorly built that you might as well lock your guns in a closet with a padlock on it.

If you don't really care about what you put inside of your cheap safe, then by all means, spend as little as possible --or buy a padlock.

However, if you want a fire or gun safe that's going to actually protect what's put inside it, you're not going to include the word "cheap" in your search.

To find out what safes are, indeed, "safe," ---please call us for some advice. We are The Safe Place, 775-358-7233

Gun, Fire, and Floor Safe Buying Advice (Want the LOWEST PRICE?)

Know that is and/or when you buy a gun safe, you're going to end up putting other things it, other than your guns and ammo. In a perfect world you buy a safe that stores other things you don't want stolen --or to give young people (or anyone for that matter) access to.

You're going to want to buy a safe, whether a gun, fire, burglary, deposit, wall, or floor safe, that isn't a piece of junk (lol). You want something that isn't going to be opened like a sardine can.

How to know which safes are good and which are excellent (and priced right?), call us at The Safe Place: 775-358-7233.

Here's a video from our store:

A Safe , Bought At a Low Price, With Lots of Steel, Mounted Properly. Ahhh, Perfect!

Your safe should be anchored in place with heavy-duty fasteners. Use a number of  bolts in the bottom of the safe, anchored to concrete or some kind of solid, secure foundation. Choose heavy duty lag bolts or anchors for installation. And if you can't mount your gun or fire safe to the floor, bolt it to wall studs. Anything that makes your safe more difficult to move helps foil would-be thieves.

To get PERFECT ADVICE, and to find the best price, the lowest price if possible, on any safe, be it a gun safe, fire safe, floor or wall safe (any application you can think of) Call us. We are The Safe Place: 775-358-7233

Storing Gunpowder in a Gun Safe? No, Not a Good Idea. Buy a Safe for Your GUNS!

There are some things you should never store in a safe. Like powder (as in GUNPOWDER). Not unless you intend to turn your safe into a big, well...you know, explosive device.

Also, we don’t recommend you store large quantities of primers in your safe either. If one goes off it can detonate others ---and, well, BOOM.

To find the best price, the lowest price if possible, on any safe, be it a gun safe, fire safe, floor or wall safe (any application you can think of) Call us. We are

THe Right Safe to Protect Your Valuables, At the Lowest Price

Safes, they serve a purpose. They buy time (as the article, below, points out). If you buy a safe for your guns, pistols, jewelry, cash, coins, or any valuable you don't want stolen, you but time and security.

But you have to buy the right safe. Every week I get a list of articles published on-line about safes. Many of them are about safes that were carried away, opened with common tools, or were incorrectly installed. Oh, and I marvel at the stories of big amounts of cash taken from safes hacked out of a wall --or stories like that where valuables are stored in things that they should be stored in (you don't buy a $150 safe to secure $10,000 in cash.

Please consult with us before you buy any safe. We'll save you time, money, and quite possibly, some painful losses.

We are The Safe Place. Call us, any time at 775-358-7233.

Walgreens stores in Knoxville have time-locked safes as new defense against pain pill robbers

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — With pain pill robbers sticking up pharmacies everywhere, Walgreens is putting the products in time-locked safes in its Knoxville drug stores as an expansion of a program that has proven to be a success.

Under the eye of security cameras, robbers apparently don't like having to wait.

Police records show drugstore holdups have dramatically increased in recent years, along with abuse of drugs such as oxycodone.

Knoxville and Knox County officers worked 44 drugstore robberies last year, nearly double the total from the year before.

Walgreens spokesman Robert Elfinger said the pill safes have proven effective in Washington, Oregon andIdaho.

Company officials told The Knoxville News Sentinel that by the time a robber gets the pills, police should be walking through the door.

Do you Need a Gun or Fire Safe?

“I don’t need a safe.”

Well, that might be true, but if you have guns -you should own a safe --and if you have small, valuable "things" you don't want to lose, you might also be a candidate for a safe.

Everyone has something that must be locked properly away. It doesn’t have to be silver or gold, it might be your stamp collection, your gun collection, or jewelry. Social security cards, passports, birth and death certificates, trusts, deeds, insurance papers, stocks and bond, and well, the list might be endless.

To look into pricing and the kinds of safe options you have, call The Safe Place at 775-358-7233. We ship gun and fire safes (EVERY kind of safe) all over America.

A Fire Safe or a Gun Safe, Whatever the Price (Especially The Lowest) Has a Job To Do

A fire safe has to protect what you’ve put in it in the most extreme, but realistic, situations. If your house sits in the middle of an oil refinery, your needs might be a bit different than if you’re in the suburbs in a brick house.

Protecting media and hard drives is a different thing than protecting your presidential autograph collection. In most cases, you do NOT want to drive over to your local big box store and chat with the salesmen about the safes they have stacked next to the dog food. From all looks and appearances these might look like great safes (the literature is amazing!), but the truth is things might not be as they appear.

To get great advice, to get the best, if not the lowest price, to get your safe delivered, discreetly, to your door, call The Safe Place: 775-358-7233. You’ll order your safe, most likely, on line, but you’ll make sure you’re getting the right safe, be it a gun safe, floor safe, depository safe, or a wall safe, by calling us for no nonsense advice.

Fire / Gun Safe, Ready to Buy. What Other Security Precautions Should I Take?

OK, I’m getting ready to buy a fire safe, which is also a gun safe, from The Safe Place (THANK YOU for the help and no-nonsense advice. No, really!). I forgot to ask you when I called, what else, security-wise, should I be thinking about and/or buying to protect my valuables?

Answer:

Well, let’s start with the simple things:

  • Good exterior lighting.
  • Good, reasonably communicative relationships with the people who live around you (“Hey Marv, did John say he was moving? There’s a bunch of guys putting all of his stuff in a big moving truck?”).
  • Good lucks on doors and windows. No house keys under the door mat.
  • Locks on your car’s steering wheels. Bikes double locked.
  • A really good alarm system --and some even better ALARM signs.
  • Avoid flaunting your wealth, if at all possible (like no “Valuables Inside!” signs in the front yard).
  • Don’t open your doors to strangers.
  • Put a “Trespassers will be Shot” sign on the fence (if and when appropriate --as there’s nothing like some good old-fashioned deterrence).

Take these precautionary common-sense steps and I figure you’ll be about twice as safe as you were before you did them.
