Buying a Gun or Fire Safe. Advice from People You Can Trust

A search of gunsafes, gun-safes, or gun safes on-line brings up a dizzying array of choices. Everyone says their gun and fire safes are the best --and that they can offer the lowest prices. I keep an eye on forums and notice that people are singing the praises of $400 gun safes and safes bought at sporting good stores “on sale.”

Where to buy? Who to trust? And what safes are really “safe” --and which ones can be opened, as you see all over the internet, in 10 minutes with a pry-bar”?

For advice you can trust, for fire or gun safes at prices you might like, call us at The Safe Place: 775-358-7233

Buying a Gun / Fire Safe Without Hassles, for the Lowest Price

Below is another example of writing about safes on the internet ---that just shoots consumer trust all to hell. I have a Google Alert out for gun safes --as I keep a very close eye on the industry (so you don't have to) --and without fail a dozen or two articles on "the best gun safes" shows up every week. Bogus.

If you want to buy a gun safe, a fire safe, or ANY safe, here's the best advice I can give you: CALL US at 775-358-7233, we are The Safe Place.

We'll save you time, money, hassles, and the effort it takes to week through the garbage on the internet.

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT read the article, below:

The actual "brand name"Safe is definitely an incredible top-of-the-line weapon safe. Given that the name indicates, this makes use of biometric finger marks acknowledgement technologies for access which means there are no keys to fumble around with or even complex access codes to consider. It is designed for fast entry and is also quite simple to program; all you have got to do will be push an service switch and place your own finger about the scanner, which will then record it and permit only a person inside. You can also record up to 10 different fingerprints to allow other people entry, if you wish. This is one of the highest rated gun safes on Amazon.com, calculating a Four.6 out of 5 rating overall. It’s one of the only safes that contains no negative customer evaluations.
"brand name" Safe Overview:
-Dimensions – 14 x 10.2 x 4.6
-Weight – 22lbs
-9 gauge / 3mm steel
-4 pre-drilled mounting holes
-Lasting storage stores up to 10 finger prints
-Interior – covered in froth padding
-Power – Uses one 9V battery
"brand name" – Exactly how Secure Could it be?
As stated, it is reinforced with 9 evaluate steel and has pre-drilled mounting holes. It can be mounted nearly anywhere that has a flat working surface and it will be nearly impossible for an burglar to get it open. Nevertheless, it’s designed how the person who’s finger marks has been programmed to be given access can quickly and easily retrieve what’s inside… state, a concealed firearm. It takes approximately 2 mere seconds from pushing your finger to the fingerpad towards the safe starting, that is quite fast.
The fasten of the "brand name" is nearly completely pick-proof and drill-proof, meaning it’s going to take someone a lot of effort to obtain inside it. A reviewer from “American Handgunner” magazine noted that they’d opened and closed the safe several hundred times and it has been totally reliable.
"brand name" safe is simply one of the best gun safes on the market. If you want a top-of-the-line secure that affords peace of mind as well as security, you cannot go wrong with this one.
What we liked concerning the "brand name" Gun Safe:
-Very easy to use and access even in the darkish
-Highly secure, easily mountable to any flat surface
-Customer service from "brand name" is some of the best in the market
What we did not like so much:
-We truthfully experienced no issues!

Safes, Bought Online, Sold with Excellent Service

To Bill Callos at The Safe Place:

I’m in the service business Bill, so I know good service from not-so-good service. I don’t know what you’re doing to train your team there, but whatever it is, don’t stop! Your guys are amazing, really.

As I told you, I’m most interested in protecting by coin collection, both from theft and from extreme fire conditions (if you recall, I told you about my collector friend in Alaska?). So now it’s just up to be to decide how big (or small) a safe I want.

Should I send you the models I’m interested in and get your advice?

Bob

Why You Should Own a Safe and Buy it On-Line

We highly suggest looking on-line for your safe (The best place on-line? www.theSAFEplace.com).

You’ll find a better inventory and better prices on-line than at any in-person store. There are just a handful of serious safe stores in the U.S. --and one of the best, The Safe Place, is located in Reno, Nevada. 775.358-7233

The Difference Between a TL-15 and a TL-30 Safe

A TL-15 safe, which is a hearty safe indeed, meets specifications set down by United Laboratories --and the same kind of safe has resisted a vigorous tool-based attack for a minimum of 15 minutes. See an example of an attack on a TL-30 safe, being tested, here.

To decide what safe is right for your needs --and why you might want one kind of safe over another --call the experts at www.TheSafePlace.com. Their phone number is 775-358-7233 (PST).

Safes are Now Beautiful AND Functional

Today’s safes, especially gun safes, aren’t just perfectly functional, but they’re often quite beautiful too. This photo shows an example of how handsome some gun safes can be. A very innovative method to shop for safes today is to have a shop owner (and one of the best gun safe stores in the USA is located in Reno / Sparks, Nevada: www.theSAFEplace.com) take you on a video tour of his / her inventory.

Are you looking for a gun safe with a particular look? Something that can house your collection and not only keep your valuables safe, but look good at same time? Gun safe going in your den?

Go to www.theSAFEplace.com and see their healthy on-line inventory of gun and other types of safes. Feel free to call The Safe Place’s team and ask for a more thorough tour of the safes you’re interested in: 775-358-7233.

The Difference Between a Security Container and a Real Safe

A security container will, most likely, be opened with a crowbar or other prying devise in a matter of minutes, if not seconds. A safe, like a TL-15 (tested to be tool-resistant for 15 minutes), has a LOT of steel in it, compared to a “security container,” which is essentially a steel box with a lock on it.

To find out what safes are really going to keep your valuable protected --and which safes are just metal boxes produced inexpensively and not meant to protect expensive “things” -- ask an expert. You can find an expert, now, at The Safe Place: 775-358-7233.

The Safe Place’s website is www.thesafeplace.com. You can find the best prices there for the best kinds of safes (the ones that meet your needs).
