Burglar Took $200,000 in Jewels and Cash (Just say NO!)

SANTA ANA, Calif., Sept. 25 (UPI) -- A career burglar in California got 45 years to life after being caught by DNA evidence at the scene of a 2007 crime.

Paul Keesling was sentenced Friday in Orange County Superior Court for a 2007 burglary in Newport Beach, the Los Angeles Times reported. He stole more than $200,000 in jewels and cash, which, with previous convictions for violent offenses, made it his third strike, enhancing his sentence under California law.
