The Safe Place

Friday, March 18, 2011

Many (if not most) situations where a safe might be put to use, there's often a different set of circumstances to be considered. In the incident outlined below (I monitor hundreds of break-ins and thefts; as a safe expert, I want to keep abreast of all things safe and loss related --to better protect YOU), a thief walked in and took something that wasn't his ---and what SHOULD have been in place was a safe that COULD NOT BE CARRIED AWAY.

How does a thief carry away two safes? He does that because the people who bought the safes didn't consult with someone like us. We are The Safe Place and our phone number is 775-358-7233. We sell safes of all kinds (gun, fire, deposit, burglary, etc) all over the nation.

Call us before buying. Safe yourself the hassle of loss and bad purchases.

An Alliston man was arrested Thursday in connection to the Feb. 22 robbery at Shoppers Drug Mart on Victoria Street.
The incident at Shoppers occurred at 11:55 p.m. when "an armed suspect" entered the local pharmacy at closing time, displayed a knife and after receiving an undisclosed amount of prescription drugs, fled on foot.
At noon March 3, Nottawasaga Street Crime Unit and the Central Drug Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence in Alliston.
"As a result of the search warrant, Police seized a large quantity of Oxycodone tablets with an approximate street value of $13,180, a quantity of Canadian and American currency, cellular phones and two safes," according to the OPP press release.
Gordon Watson, 33, of Alliston was charged with two Counts of Robbery and one Count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime under $5,000, and one Count of Possession for the Purpose (Schedule 1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Watson was held for a bail hearing on March 4. But it was held over to March 7.
