There seems to be a lot of debate about gun rights on JMU campus as described in an article from the whsv.com titled: "Gun Rights Group Push Message of Safety at JMU." According to the article it is very easy to get a gun in the state of Virginia. A concealed weapons permit can be attained online.
We hope Virginia the best in figuring out what's best for them. Just remember to be safe and keep your weapons locked in a gun safe or handgun safe when appropriate.

Wisconsin Concealed Gun Law Approved
There are 49 states with concealed gun laws. On November 1,
2011 Wisconsin was added as the 49th state. The Wisconsin Department
of Justice estimates it will issue at least 100,000 permits in the first year. Wisconsin residents interested in applying
for the CCW (carrying a concealed weapon) should consider downloading the application
and looking for a handgun safe. Exciting historical times!
