You can keep the contents of your safe dry, as there are readily available accessories, dehumidifiers, for that purpose. You can light the inside --and outside --of your safe, so it’s not like looking into a cave. You can mount velcro holsters to the door, put in shelves, drawers, and other bling (as needed).
However, your first priority is to buy a safe that does what you intend it to do. Most likely, you’re buying a safe for protection of your valuables, whether it is guns, jewelry, cash, coin, hard drives, gold, or what-have-you. For many safe buyers, they don’t learn much about safes until the one they thought was “fire-proof” gets burned up in a fire --along with the contents. Or the safe the guy at the big box store said was a “burglar” safe, turns out to be anything but.
Save yourself unnecessary loss of things you’re really seeking to protect by calling us at The Safe Place. Sure, we’d like you to buy a safe right from our Internet store, and if you’re ready to do that we won’t object; but in all fairness, we would also like it if you were armed with some sound advice, before you purchased. Don’t hesitate to call us at 775-358-7233 if you have questions (we want you to ask them).
