How to Lose Your Guns. A Story About My Gun Safe.

How to Lose Your Guns. A Story About My Gun Safe.

I used to store my shotgun in a case under my bed. My apartment got broken into and I lost that gun --along with some other valuables. I was smarter in my next gun purchase. I bought a little safe (this time I was storing my Glock). A friend came over once and actually picked my safe up to show me how he could, if he wanted, just all the darn thing out of my apartment. I still have that safe, but I use it to store things I wouldn't miss if someone did, indeed, carry it away.

Today I own a really fine gun safe, an American Security SF6030 (which I bought from The Safe Place). I bought it for $800 less than the lowest big I could get from any place I looked. It sits in my office and it holds 6 rifles, 4 of my handguns, some cash, a bunch of my watches and rings, two laptops from time to time, cameras, and a bunch of papers I don't’ want to lose.

I have to thank that thief who stole my favorite shotgun. He helped me learn how to protect the things I don’t want to see stolen. If I might be so bold, if you want a safe, be it a fire or gun safe (or both, like mine), call Bill Callos and/or his team at The Safe Place (775-358-7233). I’ve recommend him to a few of my friends --and in every case, The Safe Place has meet and beat the lowest prices anyone could find. I like that, but most of all, I like my stuff to stay safe!
