Buying a Safe, Cheap, But Right! How to Save Money on a Gun or Fire Safe.

You’re interested in buying a safe. The safe, above (by the way), is the

Browning Tactical Series Mark II AR26F Gun Safe

May I offer you the following suggestions:

1. Buy the best safe you can, but at the best bargain you can find (as in THE lowest price).

2. Consider some basic (and new) accessories to make better use of your safe.

3. Do not buy your safe from a box store --or a sporting goods store, unless you’re absolutely sure the sales-person knows what they’re selling --and that you’re not buying a safe that’s not what it appears to be (many poorly constructed “safes” can be pried open with a pry bar --so buyer beware!).

4. Take 10 minutes and talk with someone who is in the safe business, as the technology, construction techniques, and security issues around safes is always changing. Someone who pays attention to trends, steel prices, and who buys in volume (like we do) can keep you from making a buying mistake (and save you money.
